Your explanation implies that the *main point* of ``register''
is to prevent taking the affected object's address.  I disagreed.
It's more a matter of emphasis than semantics.  It's true that the
only real semantic effect of ``register'' is to disable unary "&",
but that's really a side effect of the original purpose.
