As regards Slashdot I've been a reasonably regular story submitter for some years and have seen the same decline as most, if not all, of you. I kept hoping against hope that it would recover but the beta and the lack of real regard for the community have eroded my enthusiasm for the site to as good as zero. We appear to have a fresh chance at something worthwhile here and I hope that if we all put the energy into this that has been expended on complaints that have fallen on deaf ears into this we can pull it off.
