Every "simplification" or "improvement" I see described about this system strikes me as taking control away from the user, as has been happening in both software and hardware. Instead of allowing choces or being able to control settings on a sliding scale, we are now dumped into discrete slots that allow of little to no variance. Plrase explain to me how this is an advantage for any but the hapless. -- Erilar, biblioholic medievalist with iPad
