If that particular warning comes up especially with Mountain Lion (OSX.8.x) and Mavericks Mavericks (OSX.9.x) That can be safely ignored. Each time they update the Disk Utilities they end up messing something up so at least one or two things give out false messages. If do the same thing going to Recovery disk You'll see the same message. I would suggest downloading Adobe Reader (Free) to view PDF's And see if the files are corrupt. Preview has a terrible habit of corrupting PDF and absolutely destroys Forms. Just the act of opening a PDF form and closing it will absolute damage a form. Try going to Recovery Disk (Restart with ⌘-R) Try repairing The Drive and the Repair permissions. Don't bother verifying. When you choose repair, if doesn't fix anything its verifying anyway. If it fixes the Hard Drive run it again. If the second time around it says its okay you good to go. Do the Drive repair first before the permissions. -- Phillip M. Jones, C.E.T.
