An ethernet cable connects my modem to my analog telephone adaptor. From there, an ethernet cable goes to my computer. Before I had an ATA, I could bring up a modem interface by typing its IP into a browser. Now I can't do it unless I connect the modem directly to the computer. If I can talk to remote IPs with the ATA in the line, why can't I talk to my modem? Is there a way to make it possible?
