If I spent $170, I could get 300 watts for 14 minutes.  Is that 
underpowered?

Oh, I didn't get 13 years.  I got only 11.  A neighbor threw it away 
after two years because it was a 2-year battery and it quit working.  I 
cleaned up the PbSO4 and kept it cleaned up, and it kept starting my car.
