Yes I met him once on a train to Swansea. To pin the year down he had one of those luggable Amstrad PCs withe the little fold up screen. I seem to recall he also had a mobile phone the size of a house brick. Did he not work for The Atomic Energy authority at one time, or did I dream that part. Interesting about losing his sight, as of course even then, I was partially sighed myself. We were on our m way to get some hands on time at the unit where Sam Coupes were going to be made. I recall a bit of a todo between several of us media mob and Bruce Gordon. He was adamant that the midi port was the future but we all wanted a printer port and rs232.
