His hypothesis was that they were helping each other resist repair.
I find that a bit of a stretch, in terms of the size of the code packets
that would be needed and the bandwidth of an audio transmission.
But your idea seems quite plausible. As long as they are undetected,
bandwidth would be irrelevant.
On the other hand, getting the infection into the non-networked machine
would be a lot harder to do.
