Refreshing ActiveX controls

Any idea how to refresh ActiveX controls without restarting IE? (or 
probably any browser that support ActiveX).

I was thinking about something similar to refresh method 
(https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/DOM/PluginArray), but for ActiveX.
