AFAIK PHP 5.2 is still supported by some Linux distros by backporting important bug fixes, but the "official" support ended with 5.2.16 in December 2010, see <http://php.net/archive/2010.php>. 5.2.17 fixed a critical vulnerability and was released 3 weeks after 5.2.16. -- Christoph
