While you're at it, suggest you make at least two partitions. Make c: as small as you can. Put all the data files on D: Then, a backup is relatively tiny and acronis can back up C: to d: on the fly. Copy the archive offline. I've never needed more than 16GB on C:, so a 25GB C: works for me. Then I have 250GB on D: that's shared and the rest on e: not shared. Not exactly security, but drive-by hackers won't stop to hack what they can't see. > > >
