I would check the result of `pfctl -sr` to see if you have setup rules that may block traffic to or from the remote service. Sadly my BSD skills are minimal, so no further suggestions what to look at regarding firewall. If you don't find anything in the firewall rules, you can also try to use tcptraceroute and see if you can get a route from you to wordpress/s9y.org -- //Aho
