Yesterday it was a library, today it's a simple and better C (aka, C + (--(C++))? ), tomorrow it will be what? It's all very vague, and doesn't the committee codify solid, known, proven, ubiquitous stuff? If so, where is this solid, known, proven, ubiquitous "stuff" you want the committee to consider for preparation or inclusion in the standard?
