AFAIK, I have POTS. My DSL equipment came with filters.
I don't have a standalone FAX machine. So, the diagram with
the computer connected to the FAX modem is the one for my situation ...

(USR5686E) again and
make sure that it goes through the filter. Can't remember now.
Getting a compact easy to carry USB FAX modem would be nice also.
