Without the ability to ACT on your beliefs, the freedom of speech means
little. And all freedoms are limited by how they interact with other
freedoms. The right of Freedom of Speech says that the Government is
restricted in its manner of imposing restrictions on speech. It does not
say that one is immune to natural consequences arising through the
interactions of private individuals. Organizations are collections of
individuals, and those individuals still have their rights of action.

I met RMS once in person when he talked at a meeting of an open source
project, and after that I was so turned off by some of his ideas that he
proclaimed that I decided that if he was a spokesman for the 'GNU' idea,
that I would avoid, when possible, the use of GNU licenses, on a
fundamental ideological basis.
