Your table in the post I was replying to was way bigger!
As others have pointed out, predefined structs of function pointers
(with the correct signature) are quite common in C or C++, especially if
you are working with drivers or kernel modules.

I have something similar (and code generated) using an enum as an index
in the bowels of some code along the lines of:
enum TableType {malloc_fn, realloc_fn};
auto table = make_tuple(&malloc, &realloc);
int main()
{
auto p = get<malloc_fn>(table)( 42 );
}
Which has the advantage of spotting incorrect calls to the functions in
table at compile time.
