19934 read(3, "[stuff omitted]"..., 4096) = 4096
19934 close(3) = 0
19934 access("/home/peter/.gnupg/pubring.kbx", F_OK) = 0
19934 access("/home/peter/.gnupg/pubring.kbx", R_OK) = 0
So, it seems to be reading something from the pubrings.
