They also really get the idea of using a computer to work with multiple 
programs in a workflow. This is why they have Automator and AppleScript, 
and why they have a clipboard that remains even when you quit a program 
(not a given on Linux, though you can get it), and the same hot keys for 
copy and paste in pretty much all programs -- including the terminal, 
and shared color palettes and swatches, and shared font collections, and 
ways to get to your different categories of images and videos and music 
from pretty much any program, etc.

If you look at Owl's solutions you will see where Linux shines... the 
command line. If you look at my solutions you will see where macOS 
shines, the GUI. Does not mean each does not have a capable "other" 
interface, they do, but macOS is pretty much the gold standard for GUIs 
(which does not mean flawless), and Linux is the gold standard for CLIs.

The have a very good reliability rating (though I think it has slipped 
some on phones, from what I recall it is still very good on the 
desktop). For those who want internal upgrades they are, of course, 
horrid. Heck, even adding RAM is not a given... which is a bit absurd on 
a desktop (that is one area people tend change, at least more than 
others). That and adding new hard drives. I do not get why Apple focuses 
on how thin a DESKTOP machine is.
