Linux still whooping appile --------------------------- https://apple.slashdot.org/story/18/06/09/202257/clear-linux-beats-macos-in-macbook-pro-benchmark-tests I now get Linux to boot in about 3 seconds on a PC with SSD. The longest wait is now the BIOS. Those can be made to boot in 4 seconds but only for a small number of boards that have been ported to BIOS boot with Linux.
