Ladies, Gentlemen ... I must make the following statement. Checkmate
who saw the huge problem with my massive emotional instability a few
months ago has been totally vindicated and proven right. I have spent
the last four weeks of my life in a maximum security mental hospital
considered too dangerous to leave or go home for the first 3 weeks. It
was only when I started to respond to the maximum doses of
tranquillisers and electro-shock treatment that up until then had been
having no effect that finally the doctors have decided upon granting me
a little compassionate leave to go home and have a shower to wash away
all the drool and blood that I had so misguidedly inflicted upon myself.

After a few months more of this emergency treatment I may be permitted
to finally go home and continue my life under permanent house arrest.
The days of my liberty are past ... now I humbly submit myself to your
scorn and retribution.

I am so ... so ... sorry for what I did.

I'm sure people will be overjoyed to hear that I am now typing on a
laptop that went to the shop to be repaired and has come back with
problems it didn't have before. If this laptop crashes while I'm in
here that will be the end of my posting. I'm sure most of the newsgroup
would be more than happy if that were to occur.
