I had Whatsapp for a while, but uninstalled it ~ 9 months ago. That's
left for me:

Media/WhatsApp Images/Sent/			(jpegs)
Media/WhatsApp Images/Private/			(empty)
Media/WhatsApp Documents/Sent/			(jpegs)
Media/WhatsApp Documents/Private/		(empty)
Media/WhatsApp Audio/Sent/ 			(empty)
Media/WhatsApp Audio/Private/ 			(empty)
Media/WhatsApp Animated Gifs/Sent/ 		(mp4s)
Media/WhatsApp Animated Gifs/Private/ 		(empty)
Media/WhatsApp Stickers/ 			(webps)
Media/WhatsApp Video/Sent/ 			(empty)
Media/WhatsApp Video/Private/ 			(empty)
Media/WhatsApp Profile Photos/			(empty)
Media/WhatsApp Voice Notes/ 			(has an empty directory)
Databases/					(msgstore*.db.crypt12)
Backups/					(*.db.crypt1)

The *.db.* files are all encrypted. I don't know with what.
The *.jpg, *.mp4, *.webp files are not encrypted.

It's in shared storage, so if you've granted access to the sd card for
an app, that app can read those files.
