  The Camera app which comes with my Huawei Y5[60] (Android 5.1.1)
*does* have (in its Settings) 'Preferred save location' which can be set
to 'SD card'.

  But as The Real Bev says, there are (too?) *many* camera apps, so YMMV
and probably YMWV.

  Also found that something as simple as the built-in 'Contacts' app
differs between vendors, models, releases, etc.. Sigh!
