He is a property developer in New York -- so he must have done his fair share of wheeling and dealing and arranging for backroom arrangements with unions, town hall officials and the mob. Not to mention that in order to make and keep his billions, he must have employed some of the sneakiest possible tax avoidance techniques... Not a politician? He may not be a *career* politician, but his behaviour on this campaign is classic politician stuff ... and in particular the demagogue archetype. He always goes straight for the emotional jugular. He makes outrageous promises he knows cannot be kept. He stokes fear. That makes him a politician.
