If beta decay were the true electron of atoms in decay, then you soon would have the dissolution of all atoms. The true electron inside atoms is the muon and it never leaves its attendant proton, but rather performs a Faraday law by thrusting though the proton and converting space into a magnetic monopole. This monopole is that glow in the dark of radioactivity. AP
