Carpets, especially oriental rugs, are real 'dirt magnets'. You don't get the dirt out with a vacuum cleaner, but need to wash the rugs. Modern machines can actually do this. Or you throw the rugs into the bath-tub. So if you think, my claims are wrong, you say they are wrong, even if you don't know for certain. Certainty is hard to achieve. In most cases it requires to make experiments yourself. And that's what I can't do. So we have hearsay on both sides and do not really know, what is true and what is not. Usually I would expect truth somewhere in the middle. TH
