Except for epub, somehow. Epubs get reflowed to fit the screen they're sitting on. PDFs always preserve the layout that they were defined with, usually aimed at a piece of paper. This is almost never aimed at a 3.5 inch screen. I hate the default reader bundled with Kobo or Kindle. I buy my books from Kobo and crack them to use in a generic reader. On the phone, I use Moon Reader.
