No you haven't, you have just executed "return GCContent;". You would
have had the same problem (only worse) with your C example.
Anyway, the first example would be efficient with move assignment or in
the likely case that Sequence were little more than a wrapper for some
dynamic memory.
So to sum up, the C++ version would be no less efficient with the
additional benefit of freeing the programmer from having to know which
pointer to free and how to free it.
