Anyway, to get sha-2 I had to do another update but then the sha-2 update bombed on reboot and keeps reverting to 'uninstalled'. Still I managed to INITIATE a Macrium install before rebooting but could never complete it. It never ends for crissssake!

I was in way over my head, throughout this entire task actually because
I knew next to nothing about windows and absolutely nothing about EFI.
This weekend I'm staging for the next attack. Got the facilitating
version of disk-1 done, it has a freshie linux Tumbleweed and a w10 on
it also in addition to the original Linux which boots and works fine.
Got the Reflect installation done too (which BTW has to be done on-line
if using the home edition). Made the Rescue CD too. Don't know much
about their ReDeployment feature yet.

This evening I moved most of my own rags over to the new machine,
that'll get finished before Monday. Lots of reading to do, I may not
need to use the old legacy box at all. For example I read that w7
'should' boot without issues on the EFI box, in EFI mode, IF the w7
partition on the DOS disk is changed to GPT (apparently gdisk can do
this without data loss), etc. etc.
