Platform library issue more like.
On Linux and Solaris, compiling (with the missing header added) with:
gcc -std=c99 -pedantic -Wall x.c -m64; ./a.out
-2147483647 11 errno = Success
gcc -std=c99 -pedantic -Wall x.c -m32; ./a.out
-2147483647 11 errno = Success
