Never did much in MUMPS. I think it was a small expenses accounting aid but 
I did a better one in Fortran. In Basic I dealt with some controls for a 
radio transceiver (setting synthesizer frequency and some display 
functions). Other things in Fortran iV related to orbit calculations for 
some AMSAT vehicles (knowing when they were going to be in range).

We had similar time on Fortran, but I gave up on MUMPS within a month. BASIC 
and Machine Code became my mainstay languages until 1982.
