Repeating it doesn't make it any more true. The world is moving on to
better things than TRIM.

As you have already been told, as time goes on, more and more SSDs are
being designed with internal firmware that effectively handles the
problems that TRIM used to address. And real world experience shows that
with those drives, TRIM is unnecessary. I have a four year old SSD that
has never had TRIM enabled, and has been filled up to within 100 MB
*twice* during those four years, and performance is just fine.
