You really are terminally stupid when it comes to tech sales as much as you are about technology in general. Consultive sales was the model used and the salesperson is every bit as big a deal in the solutions as are the techs, programmers and network engineers I worked with. Most often I designed the networks for the schools and businesses I sold to. Some with a few hundred workstations and quite a few servers. I went up on bidded projects against the big boys quite a few times and won the bid more often than not. I wrote the specifications in conjunction with the network engineers, techs and programmers for most projects. And that's how it is done in successful value added resale shops. > > Really.
