Jesus Christ. Interesting question! That's an easy one since I'm a DOS game programmer. I prefer MS-DOS 6.22 since I have the official software for it. However, I don't have the original hardware. It is being VirtualBox. The closest to that is DOSBox 0.74 since it emulates MS-DOS 6.22 in addition to being able to use a Microsoft XBOX360 controller and SONY PS One Controller (both needing a USB adapter for the USB port on the PC). Also, DOSBox 0.74 is able to reproduce sound that I can control where as MS-DOS 6.22 needs soundblaster, which I'm not used to right now. However, I do like Microsoft Windows XP for a third alternative. Cheers from a heavy coffee drinker. -- http://Vetusware.org - Forum, dedicated to the software of the good old days.
