To be clear, I mention it this way because it is just me doing
development at the present time.  I am not part of a team, but I am the
sole developer doing all of this, and I have a regular full-time day
job which consumes well in excess of 50 hours per week.  And here until
this past week, has been consuming all of my free time because I had a
particular project I had to get out.

In any event, I would like to do these things full-time, or to be able
to spend 3+ hours per day at least working on them.  As it is, it is
all done in the evenings, weekends, holidays, vacation days, sick days,
lunch hours, and periodic time-shifts where I work when I feel inspired
and then trade that time for evening work on my regular full-time job's
work, though this has only happened a handful of times.
