I also have a piece of plastic that's for bending leads on components. I'm sure it annoyed the magazine stores, I remember times when there'd be a sticker on the magazine, "ask at the desk" because otherwise the freebie of the month would clog up the magazine racks. ANd then of course, floppy disks were rather standard on some magazines from the UK. Certainly in the days of the Atari ST, I picked up some interesting software that way. Then eventually the floppies became CDROMs, and then DVDs. For North American magazines (really, US magazines), such things were an occasional thing, some special bonus or something worked up with an advertiser. Michael
