That's true, but it is based on the method used to generate the noise.
And you can get "reasonably close" so long as you use a method appropriate 
for the need.

Like I said, a pseudo-random number generator using a shift register with 
proper feedback clocked at a high enough frequency can generate "white 
noise" good enough for audio purposes.  And then you filter it properly if
you want "pink noise" which is more suited for some testing purposes.

But once you filter, it's not white, it's something else.

The limits of generation are a different thing.
