Unless the data that you store on Apple's "cloud" servers is completely
devoid of any private data, they're collecting it, even if it's simply a
side effect of storing it. 

Once the data is on Apple's systems, it's subject to examination
by the government, for almost any reason. 

Depending on the exact wording of your agreement with Apple, it might
also be subject to examination by Apple, or any of its partners.
