That situation has been resolved by NMU'ing these two packages fixing their FTBFS with the most recent publicsuffix upload. The NMU has reached Testing by now, and I have in the meantime pushed my changes to the package repo. Thus I have now prepared another update, following the same procedure and tests as mentioned before in <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1077255#10> and <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1077255#15>. I.e. the resulting package is lintian-clean and passes its autopkgtest, and building libpsl and some other reverse (build-)depends also succeeds with it installed, and I copied it to <https://people.debian.org/~florian/publicsuffix/>, and I upload to DELAYED/10 only. Please let me know if this delay should be extended or the upload should be removed altogether. Please note that with this upload I decided to reflect the past 15 months and add me as an Uploader now, and to also update the packaging a bit. The changelog thus states * [685c15e] d/control: add myself as Uploader, planning to continue updating the package (Closes: #1077255) * [82bf768] d/control: drop redundant "Priority: optional" * [a501f54] d/control: drop redundant "Rules-Requires-Root: no" * [afd39bf] d/patches: minimize and declare "Forwarded: not-needed" * [d7379bf] d/rules: move from override_dh_auto_build to execute_after_dh_auto_build * [320ddd9] d/control: raise Standards-Version to 4.7.3 * [9bd1186] d/new-upstream-version: update to current packaging practices. Cf. <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1077255#10> * new upstream version (cf. #1077255) * [3272408] d/copyright: update to current upstream / debian packaging If the upload will reach incoming, I will also push my changes to the package repo, and I intend to eventually update the package again after some more time. Cheers, Flo
