Package: linux-image-6.12.88+deb13-amd64 Version: 6.12.88-1 Dear Debian kernel maintainers, I found a regression affecting MediaTek mt7921u Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth works correctly with: ``` 6.12.86+deb13-amd64 ``` but fails consistently with: ``` 6.12.88+deb13-amd64 ``` Symptoms: * btmgmt info shows: Index list with 0 items * hciconfig hci0 up fails with: Can't init device hci0: Invalid argument (22) Relevant dmesg output: ``` Bluetooth: hci0: Failed to send wmt func ctrl (-22) Bluetooth: hci0: HCI Enhanced Setup Synchronous Connection command is advertised, but not supported. ``` Hardware: * MediaTek mt7921u USB wireless/bluetooth adapter The device is detected correctly by the kernel, but Bluetooth initialization fails only on 6.12.88. This appears to be a regression between 6.12.86 and 6.12.88. Please let me know if additional logs or testing are needed. Best regards
