What about the people with a CONSCIENCE who were burning fossil fuels 
before we were ever born... they get a pass?  Most of the people on this 
planet today, wouldn't even be here if humans hadn't discovered how to 
harness the power of fossil fuels.  If you count wood and charcoal, we 
probably wouldn't have even made it out of the Stone Age.
