Dear Maintainer,

Maxima fails to start from the command line, displaying the following error
message:

The assertion !madvise(m,p2,MADV_HUGEPAGE) on line 67 of o/msbrk.c in function
msbrk failed: Invalid argumentAborted


FYI: I filed a separate bug report for wxMaxima as that package displays a
somewhat similar error message on start up.
