I suggest packaging the latest upstream snapshot of lrzsz:

- https://github.com/UweOhse/lrzsz (Git revision 399d4f3)

plus these two patches:

- https://github.com/UweOhse/lrzsz/pull/9
- https://github.com/UweOhse/lrzsz/pull/8

The git snapshot builds fine on a current Debian system with just
these two patches applied. This way you will be able to get rid
of all the other patches.

I would still suggest to pick this patch from Fedora which fixes
many spelling fixes in the manpage, although I'm not sure the two
patches you have in your tree cover all these spelling errors as
well:
