I assume that the error is Turnpike's, rather than your machine's time
actually being wrong? That suggests to me that the time server being
used by TP has a problem. Since modern versions of Windows set the time
for you anyway, is it possible to switch off Turnpike's own check? I'm
no longer using TP v6 - which I assume you are - so I can't see for
myself whether that's possible. (I'm now using TP v5 for news, though. I
was using Thunderbird, but I had a problem with it.) If you can't switch
it off, then you could try switching to a different time server,
assuming that TP allows that. NPL's would probably be a good choice.
Another possible issue is that ISTR there are actually two different
time protocols and that TP uses the older of the two, which not all time
servers still support.
