Big oops! My apologies. I noticed this now. My script does not work well yet when the failure happens in the clean stage. I usually fix that by hand but I forgot this time. A full build log is available here: https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/202412/ but since the problem is already diagnosed and a fix has been proposed, there is little more I can say at this point. Thanks.
