Looking at the whole metadata_csum_seed and orphan_file thing,
I wanted to see in the manpages where they are described, also
so I can find them for copy/pasting later for disabling where
needed.

metadata_csum_seed was easily found, but I could not find
orphan_file in ext4(5) nor tune2fs(8) nor (in raising levels
of panic) mkfs.ext4(8), and not even in mke2fs.conf(5).

In a slightly less unideal world, this would be documented
there, also in bookworm, and the fix also included should
you wish to follow Debian Backports policy and update the
bullseye-backports version to the bookworm one.
