Looks like there was another issue, that only happens on sbuild/buildd
but not on pbuilder, a missing "-p" for mkdir in d/rules:

>    debian/rules override_dh_auto_test

> mkdir '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/debian/tests-home'
> mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/debian/tests-home’: File exists
