Just because H has to do this to be able to get to an answer doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. That is assuming that an accurate H is possible. In the analysis, H is a FIXED machine, you have to have decided on its algorithm, and THEN you can see if it is right. Since H WILL abort the simulation, the assumption that H won't isn't true, and thus it turns out that its proof was unsound. If you drop back to the saying you are going to now try to design an H, that fact that you hit the impossibility says that H can't exist, not that the definition it is trying to solve is wrong. The questestion at validation time is NOT what answer should H give to be right, as the answer H gives was fixed at design time, the question is does H give the right answer. Thus, we hit the issue that BECAUSE this H make the mistake of aborting its P even though this P ends up being a Halting Computation, is part of the reason that P actually IS a Halting Computation. Different designs for H will yield different P, and because of how P is designed, H will NEVER be right, but there is absolutely no reason we need to assume that H must be right. Some H's won't answer, and for those it doesn't really matter what P does, but if H does answer, it will always be wrong because P is built using H, and thus has that ability. So yes, If H never aborts its simulation, we get a non-Halting P, but also a non-deciding H. Change H to be able to abort, and we get a DIFFERENT P, which we can no longer use that analysis on, BECAUSE the machine is now different as it has the different H within it.
