Come on Mark, it's not as if Sam has NEVER entered into discussion here.
I recall a discussion about a cartoon where a kid on roller skate was
being "jet propelled" by letting air out of a balloon. Sam assured us
all that physics said this was impossible. Of course Sam got his ass
handed to him. And then there was the time he attempted to discuss the
Tacoma narrows bridge instability. And again he was shown a fool. And of
course he used to TRY to prove that there was global warming from CO2
(back before the global temperature has stopped going up) and virtually
every assertion he'd make was refuted with references to papers and
textbooks. So no wonder he's scared to discuss any physics. All he does
now is cut and paste so he can say "I didn't write that" and constantly
repost the charter which says the group is for physics discussion which
he now never does. Some "professor"!
