I am using a DELL Latitude D620 laptop with Core Duo inside. It only supports i386. lscpu Architecture: i686 CPU op-mode(s): 32-bit Address sizes: 32 bits physical, 32 bits virtual Byte Order: Little Endian CPU(s): 2 On-line CPU(s) list: 0,1 Vendor ID: GenuineIntel BIOS Vendor ID: Intel Model name: Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2400 @ 1.83GHz I am running Debian Testing for a long time without this problem. I have the impression somehow a switch is made to GTK-4.
