Source: numad Version: 0.5+20150602-7 Severity: normal Hello, I have just noticed that numad depends on systemd-sysv | cgmanager. However, I have find no use of cgroups in the source. It appears to have been that wasy since the initial upload. This dependency particularly matters now, since cgmanager is no longer available in Debian buster or later. This prevents numad being installed on any non-systemd init installation. My tests indicate that the daemon starts and operates without cgmanager or systemd init. Can you review if this dependency is really required and remove it if not? Thanks Mark -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.18.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init)
